09/08	1:26pm	Leigh Tiffin	K	Questionable	Head	Tiffin got absolutely de-cleated on a kickoff early in the game and it's possible that vicious hit really rung his bell. He wasn't even on the sidelines. The kickoff on which he got drilled, by the way, was called back when Tulane went off-sides. Corey Smith poorly replaced Tiffin missing an extra point and a 37-yard field goal try.

09/07	5:44pm	Will Oakley	WR	Questionable	Foot	Oakley suffered a stress fracture in his foot in summer conditioning work and did not practicing during fall camp. He did not play in the first two games but coaching staff say he is getting closer to 100% and might be able to play in week 3.
08/29	8:31am	Brandon Gibson	WR	Out	Suspension	The redshirt freshman backup won't be available to play in Alabama's first two games as a result of an inadvertent secondary NCAA rules violation.
08/21	9:43pm	Ezekial Knight	LB	Out	Illness	Knight has been forced to give up football altogether. He has a heart condition that has prevented him from playing at all this year. Knight started 12 games in '07 with 64 tackles and 3 sacks. Freshman Jerrell Harris is slated to replace him.
08/16	4:59pm	Prince Hall	LB	Out	Suspended	Hall will serve a 3-game suspension for team rules violations. The former starter will practice with the team and be available for the SEC opener at Arkansas. Coach Saban has not disclosed the reason for Hall's suspension.
08/16	4:58pm	Jimmy Johns	LB	Out	Disciplinary	Projected starter Johns has been charged with five counts of selling cocaine and one count of possession of a controlled substance. His replacement Prince Hall has been suspended for the 3 games leaving the WLB position extremely thin.

09/09	6:06pm	Xavier Kelley	LB	Questionable	Ankle	Kelley suffered an ankle injury in the last game "he will be limited for a couple days," Coach Stoops said. "We hope to get him back, we will see." Replacing him was reserve Sterling Lewis, and he didn't disappoint. Lewis recorded a team-high 12 tackles in Kelley's absence, showing the Wildcats they have a viable option if Kelley is unable to go against New Mexico this Saturday.

Coach Stoops said yesterday that it is likely Gronkowski travels with the team to New Mexico but if he plays it will be on a limited basis, "We are not going to go out and play him 50 snaps right off the bat. We will work him back and see how he is feeling."
09/07	1:15pm	Terrell Reese	WR	Out	Suspension	Reese was suspended indefinitely following his arrest on a charge of driving while intoxicated. Freshman Juron Criner made his second consecutive start at wide receiver yesterday and caught four passes for 45 yards.
09/07	12:54pm	Zander Fabbri	LB	Questionable	Undisclosed	Projected reserve MLB Fabbri was removed from practice two weeks ago after suffering an undisclosed injury. His status is still unknown and he did not play in the Toledo contest.
08/30	10:50am	Phil Garcia	OL	Out	Knee	The reserve offensive tackle has been nursing a knee injury and announced he will redshirt the 2008 season.
08/16	5:32pm	Johnathan Turner	DE	Out	Suspended	Turner remains on scholarship and is taking classes but will not participate in presseason workouts. Coach Stoops said 3-year starter will be suspended indefinitely. Sophomore Brooks Reed is penciled in as Turner's replacement. Reed had 7 tackles last year.

09/09	10:03am	Keegan Herring	RB	Questionable	Hamstring	Herring reinjured his hamstring against Stanford and may not play against UNLV this week. Coach Erickson declined to talk specifics but says Herring is day-to-day.
09/08	1:13pm	Angelo Fobbs-Valentino	S	Out	Knee	Fobbs-Valentino suffered a knee injury in the season opener and did not play against Stanford. Pre-MRI word was that he tore his MCL.

09/01	10:47am	Jamarr Robinson	DE	Out	Suspension	Robinson has been suspended for team-rules violations. The backup will return to game action against Georgia on Sept. 20.
09/01	10:45am	Morris Wooten	LB	Out	Suspension	Wooten has been suspended for team-rules violations and will return against Nevada-Las Vegas on Sept. 13. Junior Ryan McFoy started the season opener and recorded three tackles.

09/09	1:03pm	Mitch Petrus	OL	Out	Eligibility	Coach Petrino said Monday that guard Mitch Petrus will redshirt this season. A 12-game starter in 2007, Petrus has been practicing but has not dressed for either of the first two games. Petrino has given no specifics about why Petrus isn�t playing. School officials have said there has not been a violation of NCAA rules, which suggests the possibility of academic eligibility being involved.

He injured his left (non-throwing) hand when it was apparently stepped on. Williams was 7-for-7 for 95 yards and a TD before the injury. Army did not complete a pass in four attempts after Williams came out.

Sunday, Coach Tuberville said that Slaughter will stay suspended until further notice. When asked to elaborate on the reason behind the suspension, Tuberville would only reply that Slaughter is in the 'doghouse'.

Auburn's secondary was already thin when Aairon Savage was lost for the year due to a knee injury and this only emphasizes their need for quality depth.
08/17	2:22pm	Aairon Savage	CB	Out	Knee	Savage suffered a dislocated knee cap and torn ACL and MCL after a collision in practice and is out for the season. He was Freshman All-American at safety before moving to CB last year and becoming one of the team's leaders. Junior Walter McFadden looks to be Savage's replacement but Auburn's CB depth will be filled by incoming true freshmen.
