He injured his shoulder 10/18 @ Northwestern. Elliott came in when Curtis Painter was benched early in the 2nd quarter but Elliott wasn't even able to finish the quarter before he got hurt. Painter came back in the game at that point. The #2 QB for the rest of the season appears to be redshirt freshman Justin Siller who was recruited as a QB but has been playing RB.
