Paulson went into Saturday's game at UNLV leading the nation in sacks with 1.42 per game. He's gaining national recognition for his exploits. SportsIllustrated.com named him to its 2nd-team midseason All-America team and Paulson earned a spot on Phil Steele's 3rd-team midseason All-America team.

10/20	6:03pm	Stephen Larson	DL	Doubtful	Knee	Larson injured his knee in practice several weeks ago. He has missed the past 3 games and is likely to miss a few more.
10/19	2:05pm	Kevin Folger	WR	Out	Knee	The backup wideout had been starting in place of injured senior Ty Paffet but is expected to miss at least two more weeks with a knee injury. Folger leads the team in receptions and receiving yards. Paffet returned to the starting lineup in week six and will likely take on more of the receiving responsibilities for the Falcons.
09/20	6:49am	Spencer Armstrong	WR	Out	Fibula	Armstrong has a fractured fibula and will be out until mid-November. He suffered the injury late in week 3's game while recovering an onside kick.

10/11	6:27am	Ryan Bain	DT	Out For Year	Foot	Bain has not played this season due to a foot injury. But he has been banned for the rest of the season after an NCAA ruling about an over-the-counter supplement he took. Akron is short on the DL with one starter out and the other hampered by injury. RS freshman Dan Marcoux has been starting in Bain's place.
09/25	7:57am	Alex Allen	RB	Out For Year	Hip	Allen left the week 3 contest with a frightening hip injury after accumulating 36 yards on seven carries. Allen had to be taken off the field on a stretcher while immobilized and is out for the season. Dennis Kennedy took over the starting duties against Army and combined with Andrew Johnson for 128 rushing yards.
09/19	8:34am	Cowles Stewart	DL	Out For Year	Leg	RS freshman Cowles Stewart started against Wisconsin and Syracuse but suffered a season-ending hand injury. The Zips will rely on sophomore Almondo Sewell and RS freshmen Dan Marcoux and Joe Rash on the defensive line.

Coach Saban said the Tide's run-stopper would have his knee examined but that it didn't appear surgery would be necessary. With mammoth nose guard Cody out for at least two games with a knee injury, musclebound Josh Chapman will start for the Crimson Tide Saturday at Tennessee.
10/19	10:45am	Darius Hanks	WR	Questionable	Knee	Hanks did not travel to Georgia in week 5 due to what Coach Saban called a "little knee problem". He did not play in the week 6 Kentucky game either and was upgraded to probable for Ole Miss. Hanks' name did not appear on the participation report against Ole Miss.
08/21	9:43pm	Ezekial Knight	LB	Out For Year	Illness	Knight has been forced to give up football altogether. He has a heart condition that has prevented him from playing at all this year. Knight started 12 games in '07 with 64 tackles and 3 sacks. Freshman Jerrell Harris is slated to replace him.

09/24	9:59am	Blake Kerley	C	Out For Year	Knee	The junior appears lost for the season with a torn ACL in his left knee. As a RS freshman Kerley took every snap and started 12 games last year as a sophomore. Sophomore Colin Baxter takes over the hiking duties.

10/01	9:18am	Gerald Munns	LB	Out For Year	Personal	Arizona State's defense took a big hit this week with the announcement that starting MLB Gerald Munns is done for the year while he deals with undisclosed personal issues. Senior Morris Wooten will replace Munns with junior Mike Nixon and true freshman Shelly Lyons providing depth. Wooten was suspended for the first three games but played well against Georgia, leading the Sun Devils with eight tackles.

10/24	8:06am	Michael Smith	RB	Probable	Concussion	Smith suffered a concussion in week 8 but has been upgraded to probable. Smith has 791 rushing yards and 5 TD's in 6 games this season. Even if Smith is available this weekend Coach Petrino said freshman backs De�Anthony Curtis and Dennis Johnson must be asked to do more.
10/23	8:22am	Tyler Wilson	QB	Out	Mono	Backup quarterback Tyler Wilson is out indefinitely with infectious mononucleosis. RS freshman Nathan Dick will serve as the backup QB for Saturday�s game against Ole Miss and is expected to keep the job for the immediate future. Dick, who has yet to play this season, is the younger brother of starting QB Casey Dick.

Love ranks second on the team with 31 tackles and leads the Razorbacks with seven pass breakups. Sophomore Ramon Broadway moved up in Love's absence and started the past two games. Love has been upgraded to questionable for Ole Miss.
10/19	11:03am	Michael Aguirre	OL	Questionable	Leg	The Razorbacks lost tackle Michael Aguirre to a leg injury on the first offensive snap of the week 6 loss to Florida and has not played since. Grant Freeman got the first significant action of his career replacing Aquirre.
09/09	1:03pm	Mitch Petrus	OL	Out For Year	Eligibility	Coach Petrino said Monday that guard Mitch Petrus will redshirt this season. A 12-game starter in 2007, Petrus has been practicing but has not dressed for either of the first two games. Petrino has given no specifics about why Petrus isn�t playing. School officials have said there has not been a violation of NCAA rules, which suggests the possibility of academic eligibility being involved.

He has started five games this season but is still trying to regain strength in his throwing shoulder after suffering an injury last year. "He's throwing the ball a little bit, not a lot," Coach Tuberville said. "We're not letting him throw deep, trying to get it all the way back. I want to get him completely healthy and give him a shot when he's 100 percent." Since the Arkansas game, Tuberville has consistently said Kodi Burns is his starting quarterback.

Auburn's secondary was already thin when Aairon Savage was lost for the year due to a knee injury and this only emphasizes their need for quality depth.
08/17	2:22pm	Aairon Savage	CB	Out For Year	Knee	Savage suffered a dislocated knee cap and torn ACL and MCL after a collision in practice and is out for the season. He was Freshman All-American at safety before moving to CB last year and becoming one of the team's leaders. Junior Walter McFadden looks to be Savage's replacement but Auburn's CB depth will be filled by incoming true freshmen.

Buice started every game this season after beating out Trey Lewis for the corner spot opposite B.J. Hill in preseason camp. He ranked fifth for Ball State in tackles coming into the WKU game with 31, and had one interception. Lewis replaced him in week 7.

09/23	12:21pm	Dante Love	WR	Out For Year	Back	The 1st Tm MAC stud had surgery to stabilize a cervical spinal fracture and spinal cord injury after being injured early in the game Saturday. He was moving his arms and legs after the lengthy procedure. Love entered the game as the nation's leader in yards receiving per game (144.3). Love is expected to "live a normal and happy life" according to a statement released by the university, but he probably won't ever play football again.

10/06	12:56pm	Chris O'Neill	TE	Out For Year	Foot	Senior Chris O'Neill will miss the rest of the season with a broken foot, coach Chris Petersen announced Monday. O'Neill is tied for second on the team with 10 catches through four games. O'Neill has two receiving touchdowns which ties him for the team lead and 131 yards, good for fourth on the team. Sophomore Tommy Gallarda is listed as the team's starter for Saturday's game with Southern Miss.
08/30	7:47am	Nick Lomax	QB	Out For Year	Knee	Lomax has left the team to pursue a starting QB gig at a D-2 or D-3 school. He had a minimal knee injury in fall practice and was competing for the 3rd-string QB job on the depth chart.

10/24	6:58am	Wes Davis	S	Doubtful	Ankle	Davis is doubtful to play this weekend against UNC with a sprained ankle. The safety will travel with the team but not be in the starting lineup as Marcellus Bowman is listed atop the depth chart this week. Head coach Jeff Jagodzinski did say Davis would be available "in an emergency."
10/20	6:40am	DeLeon Gause	CB	Probable	Ankle	Gause played limited snaps 10/18 vs. Virginia Tech after missing the Eagles previous three games with an ankle injury and made three tackles. He is probable to play this weekend against North Carolina but how much of his normal workload he receives remains unknown.

09/15	8:25am	Alex Albright	DE	Out For Year	Neck	Albright will undergo surgery for a disk problem in his neck and miss the remainder of the season, Coach Jagodzinski announced yesterday. The Eagles' leading sack monster from last year will take a medical redshirt and be replaced in the starting lineup by junior Austin Giles.

Lorenzi was expected to be on the two-deep but instead will be replaced by freshman Adrien Spencer. Robert was also suspended by breaking team rules and will be suspended one game once he is healthy to play.

However, he said he expects to play on Saturday. Nixon is 4th on the team in tackles but leader in tackles for loss. He also has 2 INT's.
10/19	2:12pm	Spencer Hafoka	WR	Questionable	Foot	Hafoka sat out the last 3 games due to a foot injury and is questionable for UNLV.
10/19	2:12pm	Terrance Hooks	LB	Probable	Leg	Hooks went down with a patella tendon injury in the spring and it was thought he would miss the 2008 season. He practiced last week and was expected to play against TCU but did not enter the game. Relative to his general inside linebacking responsibilities Hooks can do pretty much all he is required to do.
10/19	2:11pm	Grant Nelson	LB	Probable	Kidney	Nelson has been out all season with a kidney issue but has finally returned to practice. He was on target to play in Saturday's game with TCU and was operating at essentially a "full go" but did not enter the game. Nelson is said to be ready for everything but perhaps hard cuts or stops that might be required on special teams units.

Wilson doesn't have a clear-cut backup and multiple players are expected to see increased roles in the DE rotation as a result of Wilson being out.

He was seen on the sideline with the elbow wrapped and immobilized after returning from the locker room. Johnson came into the game as Oklahoma's leader in receptions and receiving yards and touchdowns. Juaquin Iglesias stepped up big with Johnson out, grabbing 12 catches for 191 yards to pass Johnson for the team lead in receptions and receiving yards.
10/12	8:00am	Ryan Reynolds	LB	Out For Year	Knee	Reynolds went down in the 3rd quarter of 10/11 vs. Texas with a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season. The inside linebacker was second on the team in tackling and Oklahoma's defense struggled late in the game without him. Sophomore Brandon Crow replaced him in the game but redshirt freshman Austin Box may be used in the future.
