Air Force Falcons Next game: TCU at Air Force on 09/10

The senior is a projected starter but is listed as a backup on the team's initial two-deep behind Jonathan Warzeka. Junior Mikel Hunter is listed as the other starting receiver.
08/15	2:01pm	Asher Clark	RB	Probable	Leg	Clark has been out a couple of days with a minor leg injury but is expected to return soon. The senior led the team in rushing last season and earned 2nd Tm All-MWC honors. Expect him to be in the starting lineup vs. South Dakota.

08/26	11:51pm	Clayton Moore	QB	Starter	None	Moore, a junior college transfer from Mississippi, has been named the starting QB for the Zips. The sophomore beat out returning starter, junior Patrick Nicely for the position. Moore played at Gulf Coast Community College last season.
08/24	11:43pm	Bill Alexander	CB	Out	Collarbone	Alexander is out with a collarbone injury. The sophomore, who made one start last season for the Zips, has been out of practice this week with his right arm in a sling.
08/08	12:17pm	Darius Washington	LB	Out For Year	Left Team	Washington did not participate in spring practice because he was playing for the UA baseball team and it now appears the reserve LB will make it a permanent move. The sophomore will not play football this fall. He had a chance to play on special teams this year.
08/04	11:27am	Doug Richardson	FS	Out For Year	Knee	Richardson suffered an ACL injury ending his collegiate football career. The senior made four starts last season and recorded 37 tackles. Though he was not expected to start this year, he would have been a key contributor in pass defense situations and his loss weakens the depth of the Zips' secondary.

The Crimson Tide hoped to have the freshman at practice before the fall semester began. There has been an issue with his grades and eligibility. Yesterday Danny Woodson Jr. joined the Alabama football team. He is probable to dress down for the opener.
08/26	11:20pm	Eddie Lacy	RB	Probable	Pectoral	Lacy reportedly has a torn pectoral muscle but the severity of the injury is uncertain. With Dee Hart out, the sophomore tailback is expected to spell starter Trent Richardson but this injury could keep Lacy sidelined for the first few weeks of camp. Update on Lacy. He is ready to go. Last scrimmage he ran 6 times for 57 yards and a TD. He will backup Richardson in the season opener.
08/25	12:22am	Duron Carter	WR	Questionable	Academics	Carter has yet to meet the necessary requirements to participate in fall practice. Crimson Tide Coach Nick Saben acknowledged that even though Carter is in Tuscaloosa he is not eligible to be at practice or be at camp. The University does not have all of the junior college transfer's information for all of his grades.
08/11	3:47pm	Darrington Sentimore	DL	Out For Year	Suspended/Left Team	Sentimore was suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules and policy back in June and has since left the team. The sophomore has since transferred to a JUCO. He was expected to compete for some rotation time this fall.
08/07	5:56pm	Wesley Neighbors	S	Out	Undisclosed	Junior reserve Wesley Neighbors is out indefinitely with an undisclosed injury. Coach Saban said Neighbors may not be able to return this year.
08/07	5:55pm	Kendall Kelly	S	Out	Undisclosed	Sophomore reserve Kendall Kelly is out indefinitely with an undisclosed injury. Coach Saban said Kelly may not be able to return this year.
08/07	5:48pm	Kerry Murphy	DL	Out	Knee	Murphy missed spring practice due to a knee injury and is out indefinitely. The junior reserve may not return this season. He has recorded 12 tackles in two years.
08/04	12:13pm	Keiwone Malone	WR	Out For Year	Suspension/Left Team	Malone was suspended by the football team back in June and just recently announced that he is transferring to Memphis. The highly touted RS freshman appeared to be buried on the depth chart going into Fall 2011.
08/04	12:10pm	Robby Green	DB	Out For Year	Not Returning	Green will not be returning to the Tide this year as he has transferred to California University of Pennsylvania. The senior missed all of last year due to academic issues and then a violation of team rules kept him out of spring sessions this year. It did not appear as if Green would have cracked the depth chart this year anyway.
08/04	12:03pm	Petey Smith	LB	Out For Year	Transfer	Smith has transferred to Holmes Community College in Mississippi. The RS freshman decided to leave 'Bama after meeting with Coach Saban following spring practice. He said he did not want to wait until his junior or senior to get playing time.
08/01	1:59pm	Darius Hanks	WR	Out	Eligibility	Hanks is listed as a redshirt senior but there is an issue with the season he redshirted, back in 2007. He caught one pass for six yards in that season's opener and will have to sit out the first two games of this season to make up for the game in 2007. Hanks caught 32 passes for 456 yards last year and should be eligible to play Sep. 17th vs. North Texas.
08/01	1:04pm	Corey Grant	RB	Out For Year	Left Team	Grant has left the university and plans to walk on at Auburn with the hope of receiving a scholarship later. The RS freshman figured he would not see much playing time this year after Dee Hart had such an impressive spring practice.
08/01	1:02pm	Demetrius Goode	RB	Out For Year	Left Team	Goode has transferred to North Alabama, where he will be eligible to play this fall. The senior was not likely to see much playing time for the Crimson Tide this year. He rushed for 150 yards last season.
08/01	1:00pm	Dee Hart	RB	Out For Year	Knee	Hart suffered an injury to an ACL in July and will likely miss the entire season. The freshman was extremely impressive in spring practice and was expected to earn third-team status this season as well as having a shot at returning punts this fall. In fact, two other running backs transferred away from 'Bama for fear of losing playing time to Hart. Now, there are a lot of questions behind starter Trent Richardson and backup Eddie Lacy.

The junior ranked fourth on the team last year with 58 tackles. JC transfer David Lopez was listed as the SLB starter on the preseason depth chart but incoming freshmen Rob Hankins is listed as the No. 1 on the most recent two-deep.
08/30	5:28pm	Daniel Jenkins	RB	Doubtful	Ankle	Jenkins will be doubtful to play in the season opener Coach Mike Stoops announced today after suffering a sprained ankle in practice. The sophomore backup running back had 26 yards last year for the Wildcats. Freshman halfback Ka"Deem Carey will most likely fill Jenkins role on Saturday.
08/26	1:36am	Jonathan McKnight	CB	Out For Year	Knee	McKnight tore his ACL in practice yesterday and is out for the season. The sophomore was having a breakout camp and earned a starting spot. The injuries keep piling up for the Wildcats secondary. Starting safety Adam Hall has been out already with a knee injury. Sophomore Shaquille Richardson will take over the starting position.
08/24	12:43am	Bryson Beirne	QB	Out	Knee	Beirne sprained his right ACL in scimmage last week. The fifth-year senior was to back up starter Nick Foles this season. Surgery will be avoided and Beirne is hoping to be back in 2-3 weeks. If Beirne is unable to go, the Wildcats will have to either lift senior Matt Scott's redshirt status or use freshman Daxx Garman as back up.
08/11	2:23pm	Jourdon Grandon	DB	Doubtful	Knee	Grandon sprained the meniscus in his knee Tuesday and will be sideline for at least three weeks, dropping his status for the season opener to doubtful. The RS freshman was playing with the first-team defense as a nickelback during the first week of camp.
08/04	12:37pm	Greg Nwoko	RB	Out For Year	Knee	Nwoko suffered a torn ACL in the spring and is likely out for the season. Now, the only veteran presence in the running back corps is Keola Antolin. Behind Antolin on the depth chart are very inexperienced sophomores and freshmen along with senior fullback David Hill.
08/04	12:33pm	Willie Mobley	DT	Out	Knee	Mobley suffered an ACL tear playing basketball this spring and is out indefinitely. The junior was expected to backup sophomore starter Justin Washington after playing sparingly last season.
08/04	12:30pm	Adam Hall	S	Out	Knee	Hall suffered a knee injury during spring practices and is out indefinitely. The junior and projected starter has recorded 65 tackles the past two seasons in eight starts. Sophomore Marquis Flowers is the likely recipient of starter minutes at free safety; he played in 13 games last year and made 11 tackles as a true frosh.
08/04	12:20pm	Kyle Benson	LB	Out For Year	Academics	Benson has been ruled academically ineligible for Fall 2011. The RS freshman was quite possibly going to be the starting strongside LB. The Wildcats' are extremely thin at LB heading into camp.

08/27	9:40pm	Adam Tello	OG	Doubtful	Back	Tello has been held out of practice this week with a back injury. The backup offensive guard is doubtful for the season opener. Coach Dennis Erickson gave no timetable on when he expects Tello back.
08/26	12:11am	Deantre Lewis	RB	Doubtful	Buttocks	Lewis was shot in the buttocks when he took a stray bullet earlier this year while he was home visiting family. Coach Erickson said the damage to the hamstring by the bullet was worse than originally thought. The sophomore was productive last year rushing for 539 yards and receiving for 370 yards while scoring six TD's. Lewis hopes to return to practice this week. He doesn't plan to redshirt this season.
08/15	11:28pm	James Brooks	DE	Out For Year	Left Team	Brooks has left the football team due to personal reasons. The senior and two-year starter recorded 25 tackles last year, including four sacks. He was expected to be a part of the end-rotation this fall but was likely No. 3 behind senior Jamaar Jarrett (HM All-Pac10) and sophomore Junior Onyeali (1st Tm Freshman All-American).
08/14	11:49am	James Morrison	RB	Questionable	Shoulder	Morrison suffered a shoulder injury in practice and his status for the season opener is uncertain. The junior's injury is not considered serious, however. He is projected to add depth at tailback this fall.
08/14	11:45am	Brandon Magee	LB	Out For Year	Achilles	Magee went down this past week with a torn Achilles and will miss the 2011 season. The senior was second on the team last year with 73 tackles and earned honorable mention All-Pac10 honors. The Sun Devils are rather deep at linebacker and coach Erickson has many reserve players looking for playing time.
08/10	10:17pm	JJ Holliday	WR	Out	Collar Bone	Holliday broke his collar bone Wednesday and is expected to be out a month. The sophomore played six games last year as a RS freshman, mostly on special teams, and was likely to be one of the first backups inserted into games this fall.
08/10	10:09pm	Devan Spann	CB	Doubtful	Shoulder	Span dislocated his shoulder Tuesday in camp and is doubtful to be available for the season opener. The RS freshman is expected to add depth the a position that is fairly thin at the beginning of the year.
08/10	12:31pm	TJ Simpson	WR	Probable	Knee	Simpson suffered an ACL injury in the spring and is still recovering from surgery. The senior is the team's leading returning receiver from last season where he had 29 catches for 481 yards. Senior Gerell Robinson will likely start at the XWR position in the season opener if Simpson is unable to go.
08/10	12:28pm	Omar Bolden	CB	Out	Knee	Bolden is recovering from knee surgery and it is possible that he will miss the entire 2011 season. The senior earned All-Pac-10 honors last year. Junior Deveron Carr and sophomore Osahon Irabor will likely be the starting CBs when the season begins.
08/10	12:25pm	Joita Te'i	DT	Out	Foot	Te'i injured his foot Sunday and coach Erickson said he will require surgery. The RS freshman could miss as many as seven weeks putting him out at least through the first three games of the season. Te'i spent most of the first week with the second unit.

08/29	11:06pm	Broderick Green	RB	Out For Year	Knee	Green will miss the season with a torn ACL in his left knee. The redshirt senior sustained the injury during spring practice. Green played in all 13 games last season, rushing for 365 yards and three touchdowns. He rushed for 11 touchdowns in 2009.
08/29	11:02pm	Austin Moss	LB	Out For Year	Transfer	Moss has had his scholarship released by the Razorbacks this summer. The sophomore was buried on the debth chart. Moss was used primarily on special teams and finished his career with the Razorbacks with 17 tackles and a fumble recovery.
08/29	10:59pm	Colby Berna	OL	Out For Year	Shoulder	Berna has struggled with shoulder problems for two years at Arkansas and has decided to retire from football. He has had limited playing time with the Razorbacks due to the injuries.
08/29	9:02pm	Eddie Camara	K	Out For Year	Transfer	Camara has decided to transfer. The sophomore was given a scholarship release this spring from the Razorbacks. Camara was to have little playing time this season.
08/29	8:59pm	Ryan Calender	TE	Out For Year	Transfer	Calender decided to transfer from the school this summer. The redshirt freshman spent last season as a reserve defensive end and special teams member. Calender made a move to tight end this spring but figured to be buried down the depth chart.
08/12	11:13am	Knile Davis	RB	Out For Year	Ankle	Davis was carted off the practice field this week with a severely injured ankle and is expected to miss the 2011 season. The senior and team captain led the SEC in rushing last season with 1,322 yards while scoring 13 TDs. He was also picked this preseason for the Doak Walker, Maxwell and Walter Camp Player of the Year award watch lists. Expect to see a combination of juniors Dennis Johnson and Ronnie Wingo in replacement of Davis.
08/04	1:08pm	Denton Simek	TE	Out For Year	No Longer With Team	Simek has been removed from the team for unknown reasons. The RS freshman moved from offensive line to tight end where he was expected to add depth this season.
08/04	1:06pm	Jatashun Beachum	DL	Out For Year	No Longer With Team	Beachum has been removed from the team for unknown reasons. The RS freshman moved from running back to the defensive line where he was expected to add depth this season.
08/04	1:04pm	Anthony Oden	OL	Out For Year	Dismissed	Oden has been kicked off the team due to a DUI arrest in July. The sophomore did not play last year as he took a medical redshirt and was slated to add depth to the line this season, if not be one of the first backups on the team.
08/04	1:00pm	Cam Feldt	OL	Out For Year	Transfer	Feldt has transferred to North Texas. The RS freshman ranked among the top 150 prospects by ESPN.
08/04	12:54pm	Seth Oxner	C	Out For Year	Left Team	Oxner has left Razorback football. The senior started every game during the 2009 season but was replaced by then-freshman Travis Swenson last year. He was slated to be the backup again this season. Because he has already graduated, Oxner could play immediately at another school if he enrolled elsewhere.

08/21	4:27pm	Phillip Butterfield	QB	Out For Year	Knee	Butterfield suffered a knee injury last week and will not play in 2011. The sophomore was expected to be the No. 2 QB and coach Freeze even had packages planned to use him this fall. RS freshman Clay Hart and true frosh Wil Nicks will likely be sorted out as second and third teamers.

The senior believes he aggravated an old injury during drills a few weeks ago and doctors have told him he cannot play. He was Army's most experienced DB, making 24 starts in the last three years, and will now focus on mentoring the Black Knights' three freshmen CBs.
08/04	3:12pm	Chris Swain	DL	Out For Year	No Longer With Team	Swain is no longer with the team according to Coach Ellerson. The senior battled injuries in the spring but no specific reason was given for his departure in July. He played in 21 career games and was Army's most experienced interior linemen.
08/04	2:21pm	Quentin Kantaris	DL	Out For Year	Transfer	Kantaris decided to transfer from West Point last month. The sophomore was one of Army's top defensive backups heading into 2011. He played in nine games as a freshman last season and was listed as the number two defensive end on the post-spring depth chart.

08/29	11:19pm	Kris Frost	LB	Out For Year	WR	Frost is out for the year with a shoulder injury. The freshman injured his right shoulder in practice this summer and will have surgery. Frost was expected to step in and get immediate playing time.
08/29	11:14pm	Mike Blakely	RB	Out For Year	Ineligibile	Blakely has been denied by the NCAA for immediate eligibility, requiring him to sit out the 2011 season. The Florida transfer was givin his unconditional release in May by Gators coach WIll Muschamp but will have to sit out until 2012. Blakely was the #6 running back nationally last year according to Rivals.com.
08/27	12:00am	Barrett Trotter	QB	Starter	None	Trotter was named Auburn\'s starting QB. The redshirt junior beat out sophomore Clint Moseley and true freshman Kiehl Frazier for the position. He had limited play in the fourth quarter of the 2010 SEC championship game last season.
08/26	11:40pm	Michael Dyer	RB	Probable	Undisclosed	Dyer was held out of practice last week with an undisclosed injury. Nothing too serious for the sophomore running back according to Coach Gene Chizik. The coach fully expects his workhorse running back to be on the field for the start of the season.
08/26	11:38pm	Aubrey Phillips	RT	Probable	Undisclosed	Phillips has been held out of practice due to an undisclosed injury. The backup right tackle transfered from Florida State last season. Coach Gene Chizik isn't concerned that the injury is major.
08/26	11:36pm	AJ Greene	LT	Probable	Undisclosed	Greene has been banged up this preseason with an undisclosed injury. The senior left tackle is projected to start this season. Coach Gene Chizik doesn't expect Greene to miss any time with the injury.
08/04	3:25pm	Jessel Curry	LB	Out For Year	Transfer	Curry has transferred to Delaware. The sophomore has not been actively participating in Auburn team functions since the middle of last season. He made nine tackles last year.

With Cory Sykes also sidelined, sophomore Barrington Scott will compete with a few walk-ons and freshmen for No. 1 playing time.
08/11	2:07am	Cory Sykes	RB	Questionable	Thumb	Sykes had surgery to repair a ligament in his thumb this spring and his availability for the beginning of the season is uncertain. The senior and projected starter has yet to practice and his target date of return is unknown. With David Brown also sidelined, sophomore Barrington Scott will contend with a few walk-ons and freshmen for No. 1 playing time.
08/04	3:33pm	Eric Williams	RB	Out For Year	Left Team	Williams has left the program for personal reasons. The junior led the team in rushing last season with 613 yards and five TD's. The dropoff from Williams to his successor may not be a huge one, however. There will be a crowded competition of talented youngsters for new head coach Pete Lembo to choose from.

The RS freshman was expected to backup the starting CBs this fall. Senior RB Isaac Williams has switched to CB to give the Bears more depth.
08/31	8:53pm	Zac Scotton	DL	Questionable	Left Team?	Unverifiable sources say Scotton has left the team, yet there is no official word from the school or coach Briles. The senior has some good leadership qualities, but it was generally projected that he wouldn't receive a lot of playing time this season.
08/22	8:55pm	Josh Gordon	WR	Out For Year	Left Team	Gordon has left the program after being suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules. The junior caught 42 passes for 714 yards and seven TDs last season. The Bears have four other receivers who caught more than 42 passes last season returning this fall.

Coach Kelly offered no clarity on whether he'd travel, dress or even play in the season opener. Alonso has been wearing a scout-team jersey for practices, so he's not expected to play.

Now that Jake Locker is playing in the NFL, Polk will be the focal point of the Huskies' offense this fall. The junior rushed for over 1,400 yards and scored nine TDs last year on his way to earning 2nd Team All-Pac10 honors. Sophomore Jesse Callier will run with the first team while Polk is out. Callier rushed for 433 yards last year at a clip of 5.6 ypc.
