12/13 8:38am Darryl Gamble LB Out For Year Leg Gamble broke his fibula 11/29 vs. Georgia Tech and will miss the Capital One Bowl. He started only 5 games but was 3rd on the team in tackles with 60.
12/13 8:34am Darius Dewberry LB Questionable Shoulder Dewberry sat the past 3 games. Richt said Dewberry is wearing a protective shoulder harness designed to keep the injury cool and stable, but just two days after the surgery, Dewberry looked good. “Dewberry is such a tough guy,” Richt said. “He was just kind of smiling like nothing happened to him.”

Doctors found damage to the cartilage in his knee which needed to be repaired and delayed the ACL reconstruction. Coach Richt said it will be four to six weeks before the second surgery can be performed. "That hurts," Richt said. “He was pretty down about that when I talked to him (Tuesday) night."
11/01 7:18am Tavarres King WR Out Ankle King has been out the past four games with a high ankle sprain. Coach Richt said in his weekly call-in show that King isn't likely to play again this season.
10/23 8:39am Akeem Hebron LB Out For Year Ankle Reserve linebacker Hebron will miss the remainder of the season after being injured in practice. He sustained a fracture dislocation of the left ankle and will be out four to six months. The sophomore played sparingly in six games this season.
10/13 7:52am Vince Vance OL Out For Year Knee Vince Vance will need reconstructive knee surgery and miss the rest of the season, coach Mark Richt said Sunday. The successor to Vance will be the team's 4th first-string left tackle since the preseason.
10/07 1:00pm Tony Wilson WR Out For Year Ankle The reserve split end has undergone season-ending ankle surgery. Wilson had one reception this season for two yards and should be back to full speed in August 2009.

With Anderson out, the Bulldogs started Josh Davis to fill the void.  Anderson was expected to miss Saturday’s game against Georgia Tech, but Coach Richt said the RS freshman has moved around well in practice this week and will be available to play. “I don’t think he will start, but he’ll be able to play,” Richt said. “He’ll be dressed and ready.”

10/23 8:39am Akeem Hebron LB Out For Year Ankle Reserve linebacker Hebron will miss the remainder of the season after being injured in practice. He sustained a fracture dislocation of the left ankle and will be out four to six months. The sophomore played sparingly in six games this season.
10/23 8:37am Aron White TE Out Shoulder White went down in practice with a sprained shoulder and won't be able to play when the Bulldogs travel to LSU on Saturday. Sophomore Bruce Figgins will continue to start.
10/22 9:31am Tripp Chandler TE Doubtful Shoulder Chandler sat out the last 2 games with an injured shoulder. He has been downgraded to doubtful for returning for the Oct. 25 game at LSU. RS freshman Aron White and sophomore Bruce Figgins have each started a game in his place.
