| 10/03 | 11:24pm | DJ Shoemate | RB |  Out For Year | Shoulder | Shoemate injured his shoulder in the Iowa State game and is out for the year. The injury will require surgery. Coach Paul Pasqualoni said that the senior will apply for a medical redshirt year to the NCAA and will likely receive it. After being injured most of camp and season, Shoemate had 8 carries for 28 yards in 1 game this season. |

| 10/03 | 11:28pm | Jimmy Bennett | LT | Out For Year | ACL | Bennett is out for the year after tearing his ACL in practice last week. The junior earned his way into the starting lineup this season. Bennett tore his ACL in the other knee in 2009. The Huskies will move All-Big East senior Mike Ryan from right tackle to left tackle and have junior Adam Masters start at right tackle. |

| 09/16 | 1:51am | Michael Box | QB | Out For Year | Transfer | Box will transfer to a Division I-AA school this season. The sophomore wasn't in line for any playing time this season with the Huskies. Box did not announce where he will be going. |

| 08/11 | 4:19pm | Gerrard Sheppard | WR | Out For Year | Left Team | Sheppard has decided to follow Leon Kinnard to Towson University and is no longer with the UConn football team. The junior was likely to be in a backup role this year and is seeking more playing time. The Huskies are down to six eligible receivers this fall.

| 08/11 | 4:17pm | Leon Kinnard | WR | Out For Year | Left Team | Kinnard has left the program and decided to transfer to Towson University. The sophomore was projected to be a reserve this fall had he stayed at UConn. The Huskies' receiving corps has been reduced to six eligible players.

| 08/11 | 4:14pm | Mike Generett | WR | Out For Year | Left Team | Generett has left the program and will transfer to another school. The sophomore was working his way into a role with significant playing time this summer.

| 08/04 | 4:10pm | Michael Smith | WR | Out For Year | Academics | Smith has been declared ineligible for the 2011 season due to academic issues. The senior led the team with 46 receptions for 615 yards last year. The Huskies offense could be quite stagnant this year as there does not appear to be answers at any of the skill positions.

| 08/04 | 4:02pm | AJ Portee | DE | Out For Year | Transfer | Portee has transferred to Georgia State. The junior played in nine games last fall and recorded six tackles. He was expected to back up Big East 1st Team returnee Jesse Joseph this season.

| 11/12 | 1:09am | Blidi Wreh-Wilson | CB |  Doubtful | Knee | Wreh-Wilson sprained his MCL during the Buffalo game and hasn't played in the past 5 games. Wreh-Wilson was a 2nd team All-Big East last season for the Huskies. Senior Gary Wilburn will fill in for Wreh-Wilson. Wilburn has played in 21 games in his Huskie career. |

| 10/24 | 3:25pm | Jerome Junior | SS |  Probable | Ankle | Junior injured his ankle during practice last week and has been wearing a boot. Coach Paul Pasqualoni said that the ankle isn't seriously injured and he expects Junior to be ready for the Pitt game this week. Junior finish 3rd on the team last season in tackles with 59 and also added 4 interceptions. |
| 10/24 | 3:22pm | Martin Hyppolite | RB | Probable | Knee | Hyppolite has been out due to a knee injury. The backup sophomore has not played this season but Coach Paul Pasqualoni says that Hyppolite has been cleared to play at full contact. He is not sure how much he will be ready to play but he will be available. |
| 10/24 | 3:21pm | Jerome Williams | LB | Probable | Knee | Williams has been out with a knee injury. The junior is to have limited playing time this season for the Huskies. He has yet to play this season. He has returned to practice and is listed as a backup on the depth chart this week. |

| 09/28 | 1:08am | Jerome Junior | SS | Probable | Suspension | Junior will be back with the team this week. The junior was suspended for the Buffalo game for violating team rules. Coach Paul Pasqualoni said that Junior is back and will play this week. Junior finish 3rd on the team last season in tackles with 59 and also added 4 interceptions. |
| 09/27 | 11:09pm | Johnny McEntee | QB |  Starter | None | McEntee was named the starter for the Huskies this week. The junior was used in rotation with freshman Michael Nebrich and redshirt freshman Scott McCummings. Coach Paul Pasqualoni says that McEntee has clearly seperated himself from the other two and will see most of the playing time. |

| 09/19 | 12:39am | Jesse Joseph | DE |  Questionable | Knee | Joseph injured his right knee in practice. The star junior was on the sideline in a knee brace to finish practice two weeks ago. Joseph hasn't been able to play this season. Joseph was 1st team All-Big East last year. He started all 12 games last season and all 13 games in '09. He had 8.5 sacks last season to lead the Huskies. |

| 09/11 | 10:40pm | Corey Manning | TE | Questionable | Undisclosed | Manning missed the last couple of practices last week with an undisclosed injury. Coach Paul Pasqualoni gave no information on the junior backup's injury. Manning has yet to play this season. |

| 08/25 | 10:59pm | Sio Moore | WLB | Probable | Undisclosed | Moore has been held out of practices this week with an undisclosed injury. Coach Paul Pasqualoni thinks the junior will be fine. Moore was 2nd team All Big East last year and finished the year with 110 tackles. |
