| 11/21 | 12:59am | Josh Snead | RB |  Out For Year | Leg | Snead had been sidelined with an undisclosed leg injury and hasn't played this season. Coach David Cutcliffe said that Snead is back at practice and will continue to dress for the games but won't play unless needed. Coach Cutcliffe wants to redshirt Snead this season and won't play him unless there are injuries to the running backs. |
| 11/16 | 11:57pm | Kyle Hill | LT | Out For Year | Shoulder | Hill injured his shoulder during the Virginia game and will miss the rest of the season. The 5th-year senior will end his career at Duke after having surgery this week. Hill had started 46 straight games for the Blue Devils. |
| 09/28 | 1:30am | Kenny Anunike | DE | Out For Year | Knee | Anunike is out for the year after suffering a torn ACL and MCL in his left knee during the Tulane game. The junior was having a great year, with 15 tackles and 4 sacks. Anunike also sat out the entire 2008 season with a knee surgery. He will have surgery next week. |

He was unable to play the past 6 games. Coach Cutcliffe said that Butler will likely miss the rest of the season. |

| 08/30 | 5:36pm | Issac Blakeney | S | Out For Year | Suspended | Blakeney was suspended from the football team for failure to meet continuing academic eligibility requirements and will miss the season. The sophomore did not see game action as a freshman during the 2010 season. He hopes to back at Duke in January. |

He had been injured last month with a shoulder injury. Freshman Anthony Boone will be the backup until Connette is able to play. |

He was able to return to play in two games but then missed the Virginia game last week. Coach David Cutcliffe isn't sure when Moore might be able to return. |

Coach David Cutcliffe said the junior injured his back and hip during the game but still felt like he could continue to play. Renfree has been held out of contact drills during practice this week and is expected to start on Saturday. |

| 10/18 | 10:11pm | Donovan Varner | WR | Questionable | Undisclosed | Varner had to leave the Florida State game with an undisclosed injury. The senior wideout is questionable for the Wake Forest game this Saturday. On the season, Varner has 30 catches for 353 yards. |
| 10/18 | 10:06pm | August Campbell | LB | Doubtful | Leg | Campbell has been out with a leg injury. The junior did not play against Florida State and is doubtful for the Wake Forest game. Campbell has 12 tackles in his Blue Devil career. |
| 09/12 | 1:21pm | Brian Moore | C | Out | Arm | Moore broke his right arm in practice early last month. He is out indefinitely. Moore is a redshirt junior who started the past two seasons at right guard and was shifting over to replace last year's starter, Bryan Morgan. Dave Harding has been filling in for Moore. No timetable for his return. |

The first team All-ACC kicker was injured during a successful onside kick. He missed the Boston College game but was able to come back against Tulane. Coach David Cutcliffe said that Snyderwine is on a kick count and they will continue to have backup kicker Jeffrey Ijjas on standby. |
| 09/26 | 1:27pm | Desmond Scott | RB | Doubtful | Ankle | Scott injured his ankle in the third quarter of the season opener. The junior, who had a 29 yard touchdown run in the first half, did not return. Scott finished the game with 82 yards on 11 carries. Scott hasn't been able to play since the injury. |

| 09/12 | 1:28pm | Jordon Byas | SS | Questionable | Foot | Byas has been out of practice with a foot injury. Coach David Cutcliffe lists the junior as questionable for this week's game. The backup strong safetly had 28 tackles last season for the Blue Devils. |

| 09/08 | 12:50am | Juwan Thompson | RB | Probable | Ankle | Thompson hurt his ankle late in the fourth quarter last week. The starting running back for the Blue Devils is questionable for this week against Stanford. Thompson had 86 yards on 15 carries before getting injured last week. He was replaced by third string RB Jay Hollingsworth as backup Desmond Scott was injured in the third quarter. |

The redshirt junior will have the medical staff determine this week the status of him being ready for the season opener. Kurunwune was to have a backup role this season. |
