The junior linebacker has not been given a medical clearance to return to the field yet. Morgan started 6 games last season for the Owls. Sophomore Toney Moore has been filling in for the injured Morgan. Morgan might miss the entire season according to coach Howard Schnellenberger. |

| 08/30 | 12:12am | Byron Hankerson | WR | Out For Year | Ineligible | Hankerson will not play this season due to academics. The junior was to be the top backup this season. He played in 10 games last season. Possible fill-ins are redshirt freshmen Paul Moore and Jerrard Hunter. |

| 11/28 | 10:41pm | Andrew Stryffeler | DE |  Doubtful | Leg | Stryffeler injured his leg during the Troy game and hasn't been able to practice. The sophomore is doubtful to play this Saturday. Freshman Joe Henry will likely get his first start in place of the injured Stryffeler. |
| 11/28 | 10:41pm | Kevin Cyrille | DE | Doubtful | Concussion | Cyrille has been out with concussion like symptoms. The senior is doubtful for the game this Saturday according to coach Howard Schnellenberger. |

| 10/21 | 1:23pm | Graham Wilbert | QB | Probable | Elbow | Wilbert has been sidelined with a hyper-extended elbow. The junior had to leave the North Texas game and didn't return. Coach Howard Schnellenberger said an MRI was negative and that the junior was day to day. He did not play against Western Kentucky. Junior David Kooi started in place of Wilbert. |
| 10/17 | 12:41am | Alex Deleon | TE | Doubtful | Ribs | Deleon has been sidelined with a rib injury. The backup tight end reinjured himself in the game against Auburn. He sat out earlier this year with the same injury. Deleon is a redshirt freshman and has played in two games this season. He hasn't played for the past three weeks. |
