11/22	1:04am	Tyler Morgan	LS	Out For Year	Hand	Morgan injured his hand in the game against NC State. He didn't return and the Yellow Jackets took the redshirt off backup freshman Sean Tobin to replace Morgan. Morgan didn't play in the past 6 games and will miss the rest of the season.

10/18	9:48pm	Lance Richardson	FS	Out For Year	Undisclosed	Richardson will be out the entire season with an undisclosed injury. The sophomore has played in only 3 games in his Yellow Jacket career. Coach Paul Johnson expects Richardson to be ready for spring practice next year.
10/13	3:33pm	Marcus Wright	RB	Out For Year	Transfer	Wright has decided to transfer from Georgia Tech. The senior hasn't played this season due to injury and will graduate in May. Wright didn't say where he might transfer. In his 3 years at Georgia Tech he has a total of 265 yards.

08/30	12:17am	Denzel McCoy	DE	Out For Year	Body	McCoy will be held out this season for a heart defect. The Ramblin' Wreck medical staff along with Coach Paul Johnson advised McCoy to sit out another year instead of taking a chance. The redshirt freshman hasn't decided yet to retire from football. McCoy sat out 2010 for the same condition.

08/22	5:06pm	Fred Holton	FS	Out For Year	Achilles	Holton tore his achilles tendon in practice. The sophomore was the team's #3 safety and had been pushing for a starting spot. With Holton sidelined, Sophomore Jemea Thomas will likely be the primary backup safety.

11/22	1:04am	Stephen Hill	WR	Probable	Back	Hill injured his back against Duke and missed the entire second half. Coach Paul Johnson said the junior should play against Georgia this week. Hill is the Yellow Jackets leading receiver this season, hauling in 23 passes for 707 yards and 4 TD's.
11/22	12:59am	Orwin Smith	RB	Probable	Undisclosed	Smith has been out with an undisclosed injury. The junior is likely to play this week according to coach Paul Johnson. Smith has rushed for 570 yards this season with 10 TD's. He did not play against Duke.
11/21	12:57am	Morgan Bailey	RG	Out	Undisclosed	Bailey has battled an undisclosed injury. He was able to play a little in the first three games but did not play in the past 8. Bailey missed most of spring and summer practice with the injury. The redshirt freshman is a backup this season.

11/09	8:53pm	Will Jackson	LG	Probable	Neck	Jackson injured his neck during the Clemson game. Coach Paul Johnson said the bye week and extra rest helped Jackson and he will be able to play this week against Virginia Tech.
11/07	8:57pm	Jay Finch	C	Probable	Leg	Finch injured his right leg on the first play against Miami. The sophomore left the game and didn't return. He watched on the sidelines with crutches and a brace on his leg. Finch had started all 8 games this season. Junior Nick McRae replaced Finch. He did not play against Clemson.

10/17	1:49am	Daniel Drummond	ILB	Probable	Leg	Drummond injured his leg against NC State and didn't return. Coach Paul Johnson said the sophomore's injury is a tad worse than originally thought. Coach Johnson didn't say how long Drummond might be out. Redshirt freshman Quayshawn Nealy would likely fill in for the injured Drummond. Drummond didn't play in the past two games.
10/17	1:48am	Jeremiah Attaochu	OLB	Questionable	Leg	Attaochu injured his leg in the NC State game and coach Paul Johnson listed the sophomore as day to day this week. Coach Johnson isn't sure if Attaochu will be available to play this Saturday. Attaochu is having a breakout season for the Yellow Jackets. He won the National Defensive Player of the Week during week 4 with his 9 tackle, 3 sack performance against North Carolina. He did not play in the past two games.

10/09	11:45pm	Brandon Watts	LB	Doubtful	Undisclosed	Watts has been held out of practice with an undisclosed injury. The sophomore doesn't look like he will be ready for the game on Saturday. Watts is a regular used backup for the Yellow Jackets. He didn't play against Maryland.

09/26	7:48pm	Stephen Hill	WR	Probable	Hamstring	Hill injured his hamstring in the North Carolina game and couldn't continue. The junior went to the sideline and had his leg wrapped. Hill was having a great game when the injury occured. Hauling in 6 catches for 151 yards and a touchdown. Hill missed practice on Monday but is expected back this week.
09/24	2:28pm	Jeff Greene	WR	Questionable	Undisclosed	Greene has been sidelined since last week with an undisclosed injury but coach Paul Johnson upgraded the freshman to "questionable". Greene has been the #3 wide receiver this season for the Yellow Jackets, backing up starters Stephen Hill and Tyler Melton. Greene did not play against North Carolina.
09/24	2:26pm	Preston Lyons	RB	Questionable	Undisclosed	Lyons has injured his knee in practice and is questionable for this week against North Carolina State. The senior is a transfer from Colgate and was to backup starting B-back David Sims. Redshirt freshman Charles Perkins is listed for the backup to David Sims now. Lyons was unable to play against North Carolina.
09/24	2:24pm	JC Lanier	LG	Probable	Arm	Lanier has been out with a stress fracture in his arm. The redshirt sophomore hasn't played this season. Coach Paul Johnson expects Lanier to be available for the Oct. 1 game against North Carolina State.
09/24	2:21pm	BJ Bostic	A-Back	Out	Undisclosed	Bostic will miss at least another couple of weeks according to head coach Paul Johnson. The team wouldn't disclose the nature of the injury but the sophomore has had his arm in a sling. A redshirt year is possible. Bostic was the teams leading kickoff returner last season. He has not played this season.

The offensive line did not get to spend much time together during spring drills due to various injuries, and fall camp is not helping them either. Coach Paul Johnson hasn't said how much playing time Smith will get in week 3.
