| 10/16 | 9:49pm | Shontrelle Johnson | RB | Out For Year | Neck | Johnson will miss the remainder of the season with a neck injury. The sophomore started the first four games of the season and was leading the team with 247 rushing yards prior to being sidelined. Fellow sophomore James White replaced Johnson at Baylor and racked up 148 yards and a TD in his first career start.

| 09/15 | 11:30pm | Donnie Jennert | WR | Out For Year | Academics | Jenner has been ruled academically ineligible and will not play football this year. The sophomore reserve was recently arrested and charged for public intoxication. He was not likely to crack the two-deep this fall.

| 09/06 | 6:45pm | Roosevelt Maggitt | DE | Out For Year | Knee | Maggitt suffered a knee injury in the opener and coach Rhoads said Maggitt will likely miss the remainder of the season. The junior was in the starting lineup in week one. Last year, Maggitt recorded 30 tackles mostly off the bench. Junior Rony Nelson may be the recipient of more playing time in Maggitt's absence.

| 09/02 | 6:55pm | Jerome Tiller | QB | Out For Year | Academics | Tiller has been ruled academically ineligible and will sit out the 2011 season. The junior began fall camp as the No. 1 QB but was beat out by JC transfer Steele Jantz. RS freshman Jared Barnett will backup Jantz.

| 08/25 | 3:48pm | Earl Brooks | S | Out For Year | Knee | Brooks tore the ACL in his knee and will miss the 2011 season. The senior had one tackle last year and was expected to be a backup this fall.

| 08/22 | 3:18pm | Ricky Howard | TE | Out For Year | Knee | Howard underwent knee surgery last week and will miss the 2011 season. The senior was expected to back up junior starting TE Kurt Hammerschmidt this fall.

| 08/04 | 11:40pm | Donald Smith | LB | Out For Year | Transfer | Smith has decided to transfer to Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, FL in order to be closer to home. He was a true freshman who was not likely to see much playing time for the Cyclones this fall.

| 08/04 | 11:35pm | James Capello | QB | Out For Year | Transfer | Capello has transferred to Tiffin University where he will have a better chance to play. The sophomore was likely sitting 3rd or 4th on the depth chart heading into fall camp.

| 11/28 | 6:31pm | James White | RB | Probable | Shoulder | White missed most of the last game due to a shoulder injury suffered the previous contest. The sophomore was replaced by a combination of Jeff Woody and Duran Hollis during the 26-6 loss to Oklahoma.

| 09/30 | 8:01pm | Shaban Dika | OL | Out | Knee | Dika is recovering from an injured knee and is expected to miss another four to five weeks. The RS freshman is a backup this year.

| 11/19 | 12:18am | Ethan Tuftee | OG | Questionable | Knee | Tuftee had his knee scoped last week and coach Rhoads said the sophomore should have been available for Friday's tilt vs. Oklahoma State. Tuftee did not play in the upset victory, however, and is questionable to return at Oklahoma.

| 11/19 | 12:17am | Brayden Burris | OT | Questionable | Foot | Burris has been out the past month with a broken bone in his foot but returned to practice with the team. The junior is a two-year starter but did not play Friday vs. Oklahoma State, as expected. He is questionable to play at Oklahoma.

| 10/24 | 6:39pm | Jared Barnett | QB | Starter | None | Barnett is expected to be the starting QB Saturday when the Cyclones travel to Texas Tech. The RS freshman from Texas takes over for the struggling Steele Jantz and will be making his first career start.

| 10/07 | 1:56am | Kelechi Osemele | OT | Questionable | Ankle | Osemele aggravated his ankle injury vs. the Longhorns and is questionable to play at Baylor. The senior was one of two starting tackles forced out of the last game due to injury.

| 09/06 | 7:17pm | Hayworth Hicks | OL | Probable | Suspension Served | Hicks sat out the season opener while serving a suspension for violating team rules but is expected to be back in the lineup vs. Iowa. Sophomore Kyle Lichtenberg started at right guard in place of Hicks vs. N. Iowa.

| 09/06 | 7:14pm | Kelechi Osemele | OL | Probable | Ankle | Osemele played on an ankle injury through much of preseason and tweaked it again during the opener. The senior remains probable for the week two matchup with in-state rival Iowa.

| 09/06 | 6:51pm | Stephen Ruempolhamer | DT | Probable | Knee | Ruempolhamer was not in the starting lineup for the season opener due to a knee injury. The senior had meniscus surgery a week before the Northern Iowa contest and played a couple of series during that game. He is expected to play more this Saturday when the Cyclones host Iowa. Roosevelt Maggitt moved into his starting spot but is now out with his own injury.
