| 08/05 | 1:57pm | Mo Seisay | DB |  Out For Year | Transfer | Seisay decided to transfer to Eastern Arizona. As a RS freshman last year, Siesay recorded 39 tackles and two INT's while being named to CUSA's All-Freshman team. He moved from cornerback to safety this spring.

| 11/22 | 1:53am | Taylor Reed | QB |  Doubtful | Ankle | Reed has an ongoing ankle injury that was aggravated in the last game and is doubtful to play in the season finale at Southern Miss. The freshman was replaced by sophomore Andy Summerlin and Summerlin will likely start next Saturday if Reed has not recovered.

Memphis head coach Porter announced he had replaced defensive coordinator Jay Hopson with two of his assistants: defensive line coach Mike DuBose and linebackers coach Galen Scott. |

| 11/09 | 5:43pm | Jerrell Rhodes | RB | Probable | Knee | Rhodes missed the last three games due to the bone bruise that has sidelined him for most of the season. The sophomore's status for UAB is upgraded to probable, however. He was the No.1 tailback at the beginning of the season and was the team's leading returning rusher from last year. Billy Foster and freshman Artaves Gibson have been filling in at tailback.

| 10/25 | 7:45pm | Marcus Rucker | WR | Probable | Knee | Rucker returned to the week six lineup after missing a couple games but did not find the playing field in neither week seven nor eight. The junior led the team with over 700 receiving yards and eight TDs last
year and was leading the team in receptions the first month of this season. Rucker is upgraded to probable for week nine at UCF.

| 10/23 | 9:04pm | Andy Summerlin | QB |  Questionable | Ankle | Summerlin missed the last two games with an ankle injury and is questionable to be available at UCF. The sophomore started the season opener but has since been replaced by freshman Taylor Reed, whom he relieved at Rice.

The freshman watched Skylar Jones take the reigns and go 10-for-18 for 124 yards and two picks vs. East Carolina. Reed was able to play a little in the loss.

The senior has started six games this season mainly because Jerrell Rhodes has been out. Foster leads the team with 292 rushing yards and three TDs. Freshman Artaves Gibson led the team with 65 yards rushing in week seven.

He remains questionable to play E.Carolina. The sophomore has played in four games this year and recorded six tackles. Junior Mitch Huelsing started at free safety the last two games.

Freshman Artaves Gibson and senior Billy Foster have been splitting the rushing load, but the team totaled -14 total rushing yards vs SMU. They combined for 146 yards, however, at Middle Tennessee.

The junior led the team with over 700 receiving yards and eight TDs last year and was leading the team in receptions again this season prior to being sidelined. Senior Tanner Rehrer filled in for Rucker in the last game and will likely start in his place.

| 09/09 | 1:06pm | Keiwone Malone | WR | Probable | Eligibility | Malone transferred from Alabama this summer and sat out the season opener awaiting an eligibility decision by the NCAA. The RS freshman has been ruled eligible and can compete immediately. Malone was rated a four-star prospect and recorded over 4,000 receiving yards with 57 TDs during his high school career. He has been practicing with the team since August and coach Porter said this gives them instant depth and playmaking ability.

| 09/07 | 3:14am | Taylor Reed | QB |  Starter | None | Despite Andy Summerlin being probable for the week two matchup at Arkansas State, coach Porter has named true freshman Taylor Reed the starting QB for that game. Both QBs battled Wake Forest transfer Skylar Jones all through the preseason for the starting job. Price liked how productive Reed was in relief of the injured Summerlin in week one.

| 09/05 | 4:09pm | Andy Summerlin | QB | Probable | Ankle | Summerlin injured an ankle in the season opener, but it is not considered serious. The sophomore starter has already been upgraded to probable for week two, however he has been replaced in the starting lineup by freshman Taylor Reed.

| 09/04 | 10:53pm | Billy Foster | RB/WR | Questionable | shoulder | Foster suffered a shoulder injury in the season opener and is questionable for week two at Arkansas State. The senior played well before leaving the game, rushing 13 times for 63 yards. If both Foster and Rhodes are unable to play Saturday, true freshman Artaves Gibson would likely receive the bulk of the carries.

| 08/25 | 12:49am | Marcus Rucker | WR | Probable | Knee | Rucker missed a big chunk of camp due to hurting his knee on the opening day of workouts but has been upgraded to probable for the season opener. The junior led the Tigers in receiving last year and scored a team-high eight TDs.

| 08/25 | 12:48am | Jerrell Rhodes | RB | Probable | Ankle | Rhodes has recovered from an ankle injury and has been upgraded to probable for the opener. The sophomore is the team's leading returning rusher; he gained 469 yards last year on 116 carries. Senior Billy Foster, who plays both RB and WR, would likely have a bigger workload at tailback if Rhodes suffers a setback.

The senior played in five games last fall and is the only QB on the Memphis roster who has any Div. I playing experience. Coach Porter, in his second year, has three other signal callers to choose from.
