| 10/12 | 10:22pm | Tyler Hoover | DE | Out For Year | Back | Hoover labored through the season opener dealing with a back injury but has not played since. The junior has basically been shut down for the remainder of the season. RS freshman Marcus Rush has replaced him in the starting lineup.

| 10/12 | 10:21pm | Blake Treadwell | OL | Out For Year | Knee | Treadwell sat out the last two games with a sprained knee and the team is considering redshirting his season. The junior is one of several lineman that have gone down recently. There is
not a ton of depth behind the starting unit right now. Sophomore Micajah Reynolds has been moved over from the defense to help out. Consider Treadwell out indefinitely.

| 09/23 | 3:09am | Skyler Burkland | OL | Out For Year | Ankle | Burkland suffered a broken bone near his ankle and will miss the remainder of the season. The RS freshman was replaced by JC transfer Fou Fonoti. Fonoti is likely to be the full-time replacement for Burkland at right tackle.

He sat out the past two seasons because of the injury and has been medically disqualified this year. The junior played well in the spring and earned at least co-starter status before requiring his fifth surgery on that shoulder.

| 08/05 | 3:07pm | Fred Smith | WR/FB | Out For Year | Transfer | Smith has decided to transfer from MSU. The junior will complete his football career at another school. He was seen as a big-time recruit three years ago but has mostly been a disappointment for the Spartans.

| 08/05 | 3:04pm | Onaje Miller | RB | Out For Year | Transfer | Miller was released from his letter of intent in June with plans to begin his collegiate career somewhere other than MSU. He was the lone running back in the incoming class. Miller, more recently, was arraigned for carrying a concealed weapon as well as charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol.

| 11/19 | 12:59am | Darqueze Dennard | DB | Questionable | Ankle | Dennard suffered an ankle injury in the last game and is questionable to play Saturday vs. Indiana. The sophomore CB is ninth on the team with 31 tackles this season.

Despite being probable for week 10, the junior did not play and is questionable to return at Iowa. He was second on the team with 44 tackles prior to being sidelined. Steve Gardiner started in his place the past two weeks.

| 11/06 | 7:04pm | Larry Caper | RB | Questionable | Concussion | Caper missed the last game after being injured on the opening kickoff in week nine. The junior is questionable to play at Iowa. He was third on the team with 100 yards rushing prior to being sidelined.

| 11/04 | 12:11am | Steve Gardiner | LB |  Probable | Upper-Body | Gardiner suffered an upper-body injury in the last game and was forced to exit the game. The junior backup has 16 tackles on the year. He started in place of the injured Chris Norman and was replaced by sophomore Kyler Elsworth. Gardiner is upgraded to probable for Minnesota.

| 11/01 | 1:11am | Johnny Adams | CB | Questionable | Leg | Adams suffered a leg injury in the last game and is questionable to return for the Minnesota matchup. The junior is 8th on the team with 34 tackles but has a team-high five pass breakups.

| 08/05 | 3:18pm | Jairus Jones | S |  Out | Achilles | Jones tore his Achilles tendon in spring practice and will likely miss the first month of the season. The sophomore played in 12 games last fall and recorded 15 tackles. Coach Dantonio said Jones should be running by September.

| 10/23 | 9:59pm | William Gholston | LB | Probable | Suspension Served | Gholston missed the last game due to suspension after being involved with a couple of unruly plays in the week seven game. The sophomore had started all six games previous to Wisconsin. Prior to the suspension, he ranked eighth on the team with 20 tackles and second with seven tackles for loss.

| 10/12 | 10:23pm | Bennie Fowler | WR | Probable | Foot | Fowler has yet to play this year due to a foot injury but is upgraded to probable for week seven. The sophomore played in 13 games last year and is projected to be a backup this fall. He caught 14 passes for 175 yards and a touchdown last season. Coach Dantonio said he expects Fowler to play vs. Michigan.
