11/01	5:55pm	Marcus Jones	WR/KR	Out For Year	Knee	Jones suffered an ACL injury and will miss the remainder of the season. The true freshman had nine catches in seven games and returned 13 kickoffs for an average of 28.5 yards per return. Coach Kill said he should be ready to go by spring practice.
10/23	10:37pm	Josh Campion	OL	Out For Year	Concussion	Campion has been sidelined with a concussion and is likely to miss the remainder of the season. He was expected to add depth at the guard position this fall.

08/05	4:04pm	DeLeon Eskridge	RB	Out For Year	Transfer	Eskridge has transferred to San Jose State to be closer to home. The senior led the Gophers in rushing last year with 698 yards and seven TD's. RS freshman Lamonte Edwards brings major size at 6 foot 2, 210 pounds, and could emerge as the primary ball carrier this fall.

The senior had only three receptions last year after transferring from JUCO the previous season. He struggled to fit into the Gophers offense. Expect senior Eric Lair to be backed up by junior John Rabe and senior Collin McGarry.

11/21	3:47pm	Chris Hawthorne	K	Doubtful	Leg	Hawthorne missed the last four games with an unspecified leg injury and remains doubtful to return vs. Illinois. The sophomore has been replaced by junior Jordan Wettstein.
11/21	3:46pm	Ryan Orton	OL	Questionable	Back	Orton missed the last five games with back spasms and is questionable to return vs. Illinois. Many players have had to switch positions this year due to excessive injuries on the offensive line.
11/21	3:45pm	Jimmy Gjere	OT	Questionable	Concussion	Gjere missed the last six games with a concussion and is questionable to return vs. Illinois. Both Zac Epping and Tommy Olson have been in the starting lineup recently.
11/21	3:45pm	Leston Simpson	DE	Questionable	Head	Simpson missed the last six games with a head injury and is questionable to return vs. Illinois. The senior reserve has recorded no stats so far this season.
11/21	3:44pm	Harold Legania	DT	Questionable	Foot	Legania missed the last six games with a foot injury and is questionable to return to play vs. Illinois. The RS freshman reserve has recorded no stats so far this season.

10/06	11:59pm	MarQueis Gray	QB	Doubtful	Toe	Gray missed the Michigan game due a toe injury and is doubtful to play at Purdue. The junior was replaced by true freshman Max Shortell. Shortell has seen a little time in each game so far this year and was 11 for 22 with no TDs and zero INTs in week five.
10/04	9:27pm	Donnell Kirkwood	RB	Questionable	Hamstring	Kirkwood was limited in the last game due to a hamstring injury and is questionable to play at Purdue. The sophomore practiced Tuesday, but he is still hampered. Kirkwood ranks third on the team (second among RBs) with 128 rushing yards but is first with three rushing TDs. David Cobb and Devon Wright will likely see more playing time spelling senior Duane Bennett.
09/02	4:03pm	Brendan Beal	LB	Out	Knee	Beal suffered a potentially serious knee injury and is out indefinitely. It is the same knee he had reconstructive surgery on in 2008. The sophomore backup sat out last year after transferring from Florida the year before.

09/28	10:10pm	Marcus Jones	WR	Questionable	Head	Jones is dealing with a minor concussion and is questionable to travel to Ann Arbor this weekend. The true freshman ranks third on the team with seven receptions and 101 yards.
09/25	5:49pm	Jerry Kill	Head Coach	Questionable	Seizure	Kill had another seizure today and checked into the Mayo Clinic. The head coach suffered a seizure on the sideline during a game a couple weeks ago and is trying to find a solution. He said he hopes to back at work soon but his availability for Michigan is unclear.

08/25	10:22pm	Mike Rallis	LB	Probable	Illness	Rallis has missed nearly a week due to an unspecified illness but coach Kill said the junior is expected return to practice Monday and will be ready for the season opener. Rallis recorded 37 tackles last year. The Gophers return their top six LBs from last year and added Florida transfer Brandon Beal for even more depth.
08/25	10:15pm	Keonon Cooper	LB	Probable	Arm	Cooper showed up at practice earlier this week with an arm in a cast but coach Kill said it is a minor injury. The junior and second-leading returning tackler from last season is expected to return to practice Monday (8/29) and be ready for the season opener.
