| 08/18 | 1:08pm | Travis Bradshaw | FS | Out For Year | Undisclosed | Bradshaw is wearing a neck brace for an undisclosed injury and coach Bailiff said the senior will not play this season. Bradshaw is the ninth-most prolific tackler in school history and was the team's inspirational leader. He earned 2nd team All-CUSA last season as well. Senior Xavier Webb is filling in for Bradshaw in the foreseeable future.

| 08/06 | 2:12am | Kevin Gaddis | CB | Out For Year | Transfer | Gaddis has decided to transfer from the football program. The junior played in all 12 games last year, starting four, and recorded 21 tackles. He was projected to be a backup this fall.

| 08/06 | 2:09am | Andy Erickson | WR | Out For Year | Transfer | Andy Erickson has decided to transfer to Texas State due to personal reasons. He started one game last year prior to suffering an injury. He was not projected to play a significant amount this fall.

| 08/06 | 2:03am | Cade Shaw | C | Out For Year | Transfer | Shaw was granted his release and will transfer to another school. The sophomore was projected to be the No. 2 center this fall but that responsibility will likely fall to true freshman Caleb Williams.

| 08/06 | 2:00am | Cody Bauer | DE | Out For Year | Legal Issues | Junior Cody Bauer will not be cleared to play this fall, according to coach Bailiff. The reserve DE and several other players were accused of possessing a firearm on campus - a felony charge.

| 11/20 | 4:52pm | Sam McGuffie | RB | Doubtful | Ankle | McGuffie missed the last four games due to a sprained ankle and remains doubtful to play in week 13. The junior led the team with 883 rushing yards last year and ranked third prior to injury this year with only 158 in seven games played. Senior Tyler Smith will likely continue to share the main workload with sophomore Turner Petersen.

| 11/20 | 4:51pm | Eric Ball | C | Doubtful | Shoulder | Ball missed the last three games due to a shoulder injury and remains doubtful to return at SMU. Senior Keshawn Carrington has taken over center duties in Ball's absence.

| 11/20 | 4:50pm | Luke Willson | TE | Questionable | Ankle | Willson missed the last game with an ankle injury and is questionable to return at SMU. The junior ranks third on the team with 28 catches for 311 yards and three TDs.

| 10/30 | 11:48pm | Trey Briggs | LB | Out | Knee | Briggs tore an ACL last year and has yet to play this season. He likely needs a little more time to get back to game speed and remains out indefinitely. The junior made nine starts last year prior to the knee injury and recorded 47 tackles. Sophomore Cameron Nwosu is starting at SLB in place of Briggs and was leading the team with 76 tackles through week eight.

| 10/07 | 12:29am | Charles Ross | RB | Out | Hamstring | Ross has a strained hamstring and is expected to miss the next two to four weeks of action. The junior backup has played in four games this year and has 49 yards rushing, ranking fifth on the team.

| 10/07 | 12:27am | Phillip Gaines | CB | Out | Foot | Gaines has an injured left foot and is out indefinitely. The junior was third on the team last year with 64 tackles but only has eleven through four games this season so far. RS freshman Bryce Callahan will replace Gaines in the starting lineup. Callahan grabbed two INTs at Southern Miss last week.

| 10/07 | 12:23am | Gabe Baker | S | Out | Ankle | Baker has a high ankle sprain and is expected to miss three to six weeks of action. The sophomore backup strong safety has played in four games and recorded one tackle.

The junior, with one less game played than his teammates, was leading all Owl receivers with 28 catches and 311 yards prior to missing week 10.

| 10/25 | 7:51pm | Randy Kitchens | WR | Questionable | Ankle | Kitchens is still dealing with an ankle injury and remains questionable to play at UCF Saturday. The senior has played in four games this year and has eight catches for 115 yards. |
| 10/23 | 7:32pm | Taylor McHargue | QB | Probable | Concussion | McHargue experienced concussive-type symptoms after a fourth quarter hit in the week seven game and was cleared to play Tulsa. The sophomore was limited to four passes and was relieved by senior Nick Fanuzzi in the 20-38 loss. He is probable to play at Houston on Thursday.

| 10/23 | 7:30pm | Chris Jammer | CB | Questionable | Concussion | Jammer suffered a concussion in the last game. Despite coach Bailiff saying he should be cleared to play vs. Tulsa, he did not enter the game. The senior has 21 tackles so far this year, ranking ninth on the team prior to being sidelined.

The sophomore was expected to be the No. 2 free safety behind senior Travis Bradshaw prior to Bradshaw's season ending injury but cannot get healthy himself. Senior Xavier Webb, the strong safety backup, is running with the first team right now.
