| 11/19 | 1:46am | Fozzy Whittaker | RB |  Out For Year | Leg | Whittaker was forced out of the Missouri game due to torn ligaments and is downgraded to 'out for the season.'. The senior ranked third on the team with 371 yards but was leading the team with six rushing TDs. The Longhorns are "running" out of bodies to run the ball right now.

The RS freshman and former high school All-American has hardly played at all this year as Coach Brown elected to play freshman Malcolm Brown and Joe Bergeron (with senior Fozzy Whittaker).

| 10/06 | 10:38pm | Nolan Brewster | S | Out For Year | Head | Brewster decided to quite football because of concussions and post-traumatic migraine headaches. The junior reserve played in three games this season and recorded three tackles.

| 09/27 | 3:05am | Garrett Gilbert | QB | Out For Year | Shoulder | Gilbert had surgery on his shoulder and will miss the remainder of the season. The junior started all 12 games last season but threw 10 TDs compared to 17 INTs. Case McCoy has taken over the starting job and freshman David Ash will back him up.

| 08/31 | 5:41pm | Connor Wood | QB | Out For Year | Transfer | Wood has reportedly left the Longhorns and is currently enrolled at Colorado. The RS freshman was listed behind three other players on the most recent UT depth chart.

| 08/05 | 10:29am | Malcolm Williams | WR | Out For Year | Personal | Williams has left the team due to personal reasons. He ranked fourth on the team last year with 334 yards receiving and would have been the only senior receiver this fall.

| 08/06 | 3:56pm | Quincy Russell | DL | Out For Year | Academics | True freshman Quincy Russell failed to qualify academically and will not play for the Longhorns this fall. He was not likely to see any significant playing time.

| 08/06 | 3:49pm | Brock Fitzhenry | WR | Out For Year | Left Team | Fitzhenry is no longer on the roster and will not play for the Longhorns this fall. The senior is on pace to graduate by August 2012. He has hardly seen the playing field during his Texas tenure.

| 08/06 | 3:42pm | Greg Timmons | WR | Out For Year | Transfer | Back in June, Timmons decided to leave the program and transfer to another school. The reserve played six games but not record any receptions.

| 10/24 | 4:56pm | John Harris | WR |  Out | Foot | Harris missed the last three games with a foot injury and is out indefinitely. The RS freshman reserve has two catches for 13 yards so far this year.

| 11/21 | 3:16pm | Jaxon Shipley | WR |  Questionable | Knee | Shipley sustained a knee injury in the week nine game and has not played since. He only caught one pass in the Kansas game but was still leading the team with 33 grabs, 438 yards and three TDs prior to week ten. Consider him questionable to play at Texas A&M.

| 11/19 | 1:45am | Joe Bergeron | RB |  Doubtful | Hamstring | Bergeron was held out of the Missouri game due to a hamstring injury and is downgraded to doubtful to return vs. Kansas State. The freshman ranks second on the team with 414 yards while sporting a 6.9ypc average. The Longhorns are extremely thin at tailback right now.

| 11/19 | 1:44am | Malcolm Brown | RB | Doubtful | Toe | Brown sat out the last two games nursing a turf toe and is downgraded to doubtful to return vs. Kansas State. The freshman was leading the team in rushing prior to the injury, averaging 90.7 yards per game. Joe Bergeron led the ground attack in the week 10 romp of Texas Tech but then sat out week 11 with his own injury.

| 10/30 | 11:14pm | Adrian Phillips | CB | Doubtful | Shoulder | Phillips missed the last game with an injured shoulder and is doubtful to play vs. Texas Tech. The sophomore has started five games this year and had a team-high two INTs to go along with 29 tackles (ranked 7th) prior to being sidelined.

| 10/24 | 5:10pm | Ashton Dorsey | DT | Questionable | Hip | Dorsey has been dealing with a hip flexor issue and questionable to play vs. Kansas. The sophomore played in 10 games as a true freshman last year and has been sharing a starting spot with Calvin Howell this season. Dorsey has played in five games and has recorded seven tackles.

| 10/24 | 5:06pm | Dominic Espinosa | C |  Probable | Ankle | Espinosa has been dealing with an injured ankle but is upgraded to probable for the Kansas matchup Saturday. The RS freshman was able to use the idle week to heal up.

| 10/24 | 5:04pm | Jordan Hicks | LB | Questionable | Hamstring | Hicks is hampered by an injured hamstring and is questionable to play Saturday vs. Kansas. The sophomore is fifth on the team with 31 tackles this season.

| 10/24 | 4:55pm | Demarco Cobbs | LB | Questionable | Arm | Cobbs has yet to play this year since breaking his right forearm during camp. Despite being upgraded to probable for Oklahoma in week six, the sophomore did not enter the game. He really impressed in fall camp this year and was listed as the No. 2 SLB behind sophomore starter Jordan Hicks prior to being injured.

| 10/09 | 9:48pm | Chet Moss | LB | Questionable | Back | Moss sat out the last four games with a back injury and is questionable for Oklahoma State. The true freshman was listed as the backup middle LB on the week two depth chart behind Keenan Robinson. He has not recorded any tackles yet in his young career.

| 09/11 | 10:23pm | Christian Scott | S | Out | Suspended | Scott was suspended in August following his arrest for assault. He has since been reinstated but is serving a three-game suspension and will be eligible Oct. 1 (at Iowa State). The senior made 10 starts last year and recorded 53 tackles. Junior Kenny Vaccaro and senior Blake Gideon have been the starting safeties the first two games.

| 09/12 | 9:47pm | Case McCoy | QB |  Starter | None | McCoy has been named the starter for the UCLA game Saturday. The sophomore may continue to share time with Dayne Crist and Garrett Gilbert, but he will be the first to take the snap in week three. He is 7-of-10 passing for 57 yards so far this year.

| 09/05 | 3:52pm | Marquise Goodwin | WR | Questionable | Not Redshirting | Early this summer, Goodwin decided to redshirt his junior year to focus on track where he won the national title for the long jump. He announced that he will return to the football team this coming Tuesday. Last year, Goodwin caught 31 passes for 324 yards, ranking fifth on the team in both cats.
