08/27	7:04pm	Andrew Mack	C	Out For Year	Left Team	Mack decided not to return to the team this summer. The junior started seven games last season but was projected to be a reserve this fall.

10/31	5:27pm	Jason Koontz	OL	Out	Back	Koontz has yet to play this year due to a back injury and remains out indefinitely. The junior reserve has played in 18 games in his career with zero starts and will provide depth this fall once healthy.
09/12	3:30am	Marcus Sullivan	WR/KR	Out	Academics	Sullivan has yet to play this year due to academic problems and is out indefinitely. The sophomore was projected to make a big impact on the passing game this year. Junior Trey Mays was in the starting lineup but recorded no receptions in week one.
09/07	1:40am	Eric Johnson	WR/PR	Out	Academics	Johnson did not make the trip to Wisconsin for the season opener due to academic issues and is out indefinitely. The junior transferred to UNLV this past off-season from a junior college and is projected as a backup this fall.
09/03	9:21pm	Allen Carroll	OL	Out	Undisclosed	Carroll missed the season opener with an unspecified injury and is out indefinitely. The junior has not been medically cleared to participate in practice. The JC transfer and one-time Washington Husky was projected to be in the starting lineup this fall.
08/24	2:29pm	Aaron Reed	H-Back	Out	Knee	Reed has a serious knee injury and is out indefinitely. The junior has made one start in the last two years.

11/09	6:21pm	Tim Cornett	RB	Probable	Suspension Served	Cornett missed the last game serving a suspension for a violation of team rules but is probable to return at New Mexico. The sophomore led the team in rushing last year as a true freshman and ranked second this year with 367 yards through seven games. Cornett was leading the team with 4 TDs prior to being sent to the bench and may have lost his starting job to Dionza Bradford.
11/09	6:20pm	Tani Maka	LB	Probable	Suspension Served	Maka missed the last game serving a suspension for a violation of team rules but is probable to return at New Mexico. However, the sophomore's antics may have cost him his starting job as he is listed as a backup this week. He was leading the team with 42 tackles and has two INTs this season.
11/09	6:19pm	Princeton Jackson	LB	Probable	Suspension Served	Jackson missed the last game serving a suspension for a violation of team rules but is probable to return at New Mexico. The junior ranked fourth on the team with 31 tackles prior to being benched.
11/09	6:19pm	Devante Davis	WR	Probable	Suspension Served	Davis missed the last game serving a suspension for a violation of team rules but is probable to return at New Mexico. The freshman reserve has played in seven games this season, recording three catches for 34 yards.
11/09	6:18pm	Peni Vea	LB	Probable	Suspension Served	Vea missed the last game serving a suspension for a violation of team rules. He would likely be probable to return at New Mexico but is appears he may be redshirting. The freshman reserve has recorded recording two tackles this year.

10/09	5:09pm	Eric Tuiloma-Va'a	DB	Doubtful	Undisclosed	Tuiloma-Va'a missed the last game due to an unspecified injury and remains doubtful to play at Wyoming. The sophomore reserve has played in three games this year and has recorded eight tackles.
10/09	5:08pm	Ken Spigner	DB	Doubtful	Undisclosed	Spigner has an unspecified injury and is listed as doubtful to play at Wyoming. The JC transfer backup sees a good share of playing time when healthy and has six tackles this season.

The senior played in all 13 games last year, starting eight at TE. He is quite versatile, playing TE, FB and H-back and is expected to be a big contributor once healthy.
10/04	12:05am	John Therrell	S	Questionable	Shoulder	Therrell has yet to play this year and is still recovering from shoulder surgery. The sophomore is projected to be a reserve this fall and remains questionable for week five.

09/21	2:15am	Quinton Pointer	CB	Questionable	Leg	Pointer was extremely limited in the last game due to a leg injury and is questionable to play vs. Southern Utah. The senior has only played in two of three games so far this year and has recorded a mere four tackles. He spent the better part of last season injured as well.
09/18	5:32pm	Taylor Spencer	WR	Questionable	Leg	Spencer has yet to enter a game this year after missing the early part of camp recovering from a broken leg. The RS freshman has been practicing and was upgraded to probable for week two but did not play. He is expected to be part of the receiving rotation this fall. Consider him questionable for S.Utah.

08/23	6:22pm	Deante Purvis	RB	Out	Shoulder	Purvis is recovering from a shoulder injury and is out indefinitely. The senior is projected as a backup this fall and could find himself in stiff competition with sophomore Imari Thompson and freshman Dionza Bradford.

Payne led the team last year with 689 yards and five TDs and has been named to the All-MWC Preseason team. Senior Michael Johnson and sophomore Mark Barefield would both fill in should Payne be sidelined.
