UTEP MINERS INJURY REPORT ARCHIVE 2012
Out For Year
| 08/08 | 2:20pm | Marlon McClure | WR/PR/KR | Out For Year | Suspended | McClure will not play for the Miners this year and his UTEP career may be over. The junior is one of CUSA's elite returners, and he would have been the team's leading returning receiver this season. Coach Mike Price said in June that the suspended receiver definitely won't be with the team this fall which would be a substantial loss of experience.

| 09/25 | 3:01am | TraVaun Nixon | SS | Questionable | Knee | Nixon missed the USF game with a sprained knee and is questionable for Houston Thursday. The senior was third on the team with 79 tackles last year, and even though he has played one fewer game than his teammates this year, ranks No. 1 with 15.5 tackles. He also has two INTs. Carter's spot at WLB was supposed to be filled by junior Aubrey Alexius but he was out with injury as well. JC transfer Josh Fely was thrust into the starting lineup and was third on the team with 5.5 tackles.
| 09/06 | 11:35pm | Jerel Watkins | OG | Probable | Ankle | Watkins missed the season opener with an ankle injury. Coach Price said Watkins will be back this week for sure. The RS freshman was projected to be the starting left guard this fall and has been upgraded to probable for SMU.
