| 11/19 | 1:22am | Chris McNeill | WR |  Out For Year | Arm | McNeill suffered a season ending injury in the last game. The junior was leading the Cowboys in every offensive category for receivers. True freshman Josh Doctson has started the past five games and has 18 catches during that span. He has been starting in place of demoted Dominic Rufran, but Rufran is expected to be back in the starting mix now that McNeill is out.

| 11/09 | 6:30pm | Ghaali Muhammad | RB | Out For Year | Leg | Muhammad suffered a leg injury last time out and is expected to miss the remainder of the season. The junior finishes second on the team with 379 rushing yards and a team-high 6.3 yards per carry. Fellow junior Alvester Alexander and sophomore Brandon Miller will shoulder more of the work load from here on out.

The sophomore earned 2nd Team Freshman All-American honors last year. Senior Gabe Knapton will help fill in the empty tackle spot when he is not on the end nor at linebacker. Expect junior Ben Durbin to see a lot of action this fall as well.

The RS freshman was likely a co-starter, at the least, heading into fall camp. True freshman Brett Smith will be No. 1 now, but he may have a short leash. The Cowboys have another true freshman in Adam Pittser as well as JUCO transfer Cody Sokol waiting in the wings.

| 09/15 | 4:35pm | Eddie Yarbrough | DE | Out For Year | Redshirt | Coach Dave Christensen recently stated that incoming freshman Eddie Yarbrough will likely redshirt this season. Christensen added that there is too much depth at that position. Yarbrough was one of Wyoming's top recruits this past offseason.

The senior made six at starts last year and was expected to be the primary lead blocker this fall. Two defensive linemen are now competing for the starting H-back job, Mat Birkeness and Riley Lange.

| 10/24 | 4:36pm | Mike Purcell | DT |  Probable | Foot | Purcell missed the last game with a foot injury but coach Christensen said he expects him to return for the SDSU contest. The junior has 17 tackles so far this year, including one QB sack.

He has reportedly recovered quicker than thought possible and has been upgraded to questionable for Nebraska.
